We here are in mourning for the passing of revolutionary designer, Alexander McQueen. I became a fan of his clothes when I happen to chance upon a shirt one day at Century 21 in NYC. Sure, it was probably a season old, but it was black and classic and had a unique twist that made it just a bit different. Since then, whenever I'm in NYC I try to pop into the McQueen boutique in the Meat Packing district to browse, take a catalog or two, and maybe, just maybe if I had skipped buying something at MOSS I would buy a pair of sunglasses or a scarf.Thank you Mr. McQueen. Your mens shows were always amazing to behold and your clothes even more so. I will miss the edge/slight costume/over the top effort you put into your designs. Your legend will live on through all the creativity you left behind. You will be missed.
